POP'S HOUSE
MISSION
Pop’s House, Inc. was created to assist veterans, ex-offenders and people in need who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in their efforts to achieve ultimate independence and self-sufficiency.
VISION
Our vision is to reduce recidivism and homelessness by changing the lives of individuals re-entering our communities. Pop’s House serves individuals through permanent housing, transitional housing, programs and services, who are at least
18 years of age and who are re-entering society from the armed forces, incarceration or homelessness.
Poverty, discharge from service, and release from an institution with no resources to re-integrate are the reasons some people become homeless. Pop’s House’s model for addressing the problem of homelessness is the “Re-Entry Program”, which is transitional housing with associated support services.
We meet people where they are and how they are all while enhancing their general well-being and self-esteem.
Individuals are referred by Community Correctional Centers, Shelters, Veteran Programs and other local nonprofit and
partner agencies.
Pop’s House, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation and contributions
are tax deductible.
