Housing Mission
Pop’s House, Inc. is committed to providing transitional and supportive housing to chronically homeless veterans, the formerly incarcerated and low-income individuals in need of safe, affordable living environments. We operate with a trauma-informed, person-centered approach, recognizing that housing is not only a basic human right but also the foundational platform from which individuals can rebuild their lives. Our housing initiatives prioritize inclusivity, accessibility, and holistic support, ensuring that residents have what they need to promote long-term stability and independence
Arts and Cultural Mission
At Pop’s House, we recognize that healing and empowerment extend beyond basic needs. Arts and cultural expression are powerful tools for building confidence, inspiring creativity, strengthening identity, and forging meaningful community connections. Therefore, we have woven a dynamic arts program into the fabric of our organizational mission, designed to ignite the creative spirit within the individuals we serve and to foster a vibrant, inclusive community culture.
Our arts programming includes:

Performing Arts Showcases: A free public concert series featuring local talent alongside national Grammy Award-winning artists, bringing diverse communities together and honoring our veterans and families through the power of music and celebration.

Rising Stars Youth Showcase: Providing young performers with opportunities to develop their talents, gain performance experience, and build confidence on professional stages.

Community Arts Workshops and Performances: Offering students and community members opportunities to engage in music, spoken-word, visual arts, and dance through mentorship, training, and public presentations.

Student Mentorships and Professional Development: Connecting youth and adults with professional musicians, artists, and music industry professionals. This mentorship program fosters skill-building, self-expression, showmanship, and career pathways, including insights into music production, performance, branding, marketing and the business side of the arts.
