Pop's House Youth Jazz Ensemble

The Pop’s House Youth Jazz Ensemble brings together talented young musicians from across the region to study, perform, and grow through the power of jazz and R&B. Designed for students in grades 8–12, the ensemble provides hands-on training in improvisation, ensemble performance, stage presence, and musical collaboration under the guidance of professional musicians and educators.
Through weekly rehearsals, mentorship, and live performances, students develop their technical skills while gaining real-world performance experience. The ensemble performs at community events and major festivals, including Pop’s House’s signature Jazz Under the Stars Concert, Berks Jazz Fest, the Dauphin County Jazz & Wine Festival, and other regional stages.
More than a music program, the Pop’s House Youth Jazz Ensemble is a launching pad for creativity, confidence, and leadership—giving young artists the opportunity to find their voice, connect with mentors, and share their talent with the community.
